Who will accept a free gift from God?

This morning I’d planned on going to a class at church which was being held during the service I usually attend.  I’d left the house early, got the girls checked in to their classes and headed to the meeting room.  It was empty.  I searched around and could find no large group of people awaiting the class. Surely in a church our size I’d find a packed room of people.  But nothing.  I was puzzled but not for long.  The class I wanted to attend was held one hour earlier than I thought.

I was disappointed but hadn’t really wanted to miss service anyway.  Pastor preached a great message about Jesus and at the end was explaining salvation.  He said, “We get to TAP into His worthiness…”

TAP into IT- whatever IT is that you need.  Today IT might be worthiness and tomorrow something else.  But today, take the exchange knowing we are all unworthy of anything good from God but through God’s Son, Jesus Christ, we can TAP into His worthiness by faith.  Our unworthiness for His worthiness.

Every time we see an image of a crown or hear the phrase TAP into IT we should pay attention. God seldom releases a prophetic word to just one person. Rather, He releases revelation and anyone can pick up on it- even corporations needing a marketing slogan.

God’s word is out there and we need to ask Holy Spirit to open our ears so we’re ready to hear and interpret meaning for ourselves.  In so doing we increase our value and will be able to lead many others into an experiential relationship with Christ.

The Kingdom of God is within us and the Kingdom expands within hearts at first.  Then it extends outward to the world and beyond.

In Christ,

Is Jesus the only way to the Father?

The night Jesus was betrayed he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. He asked the Father three times if “this cup” could pass from him; yet not his will but the will of the Father be done. It’s like Jesus was asking- “Is there any other way to save mankind?” The crucifixion has been portrayed in […]
