Manna was supernatural food yet those who ate it died. Jesus is the bread of life. His flesh is also supernatural food yet He adds this promise, “Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever”. (John 6:53-58 ESV)
One type of bread was for the body and the other for the spirit. There is nothing wrong with feeding our body- we need food to live.
Consider this: even though we feed our body it is still in the process of dying.
Why not feed your spirit which is in the process of living eternally?
