In the Preface of my award winning book, “Light from a Dark Night”, I share the importance of sharing your life story.
Each one of us has life experiences which seem similar to others but, because of our unique life pattern they bear a distinct mark which cannot be copied by any other.
This distinct mark is our footprint. It becomes our testament to the world. Therefore, with experiences flavored with the unique blend of you, what you have to say to the world does matter.
I would encourage you to use your voice to comfort others- as you have been comforted. Don’t worry about comforting the world or connecting with everyone. Just comfort someone as near or far as they may be and let those who are drawn to you, drink from you.
You can change one life with your life. Someone else can benefit from everything you’ve been through.
A person who goes through the fire will be someone who knows the depth to which they hold and reflect the image of the One who created them.
Don’t despise the fire – the trials of life – for if you are faithful in the fire the promise remains you’ll come out of it better than if you were made of gold. Gold is a metal but you are a masterpiece of God.
